"....And what to my wandering eyes would appear...." but a picture
of my beloved Bogie in today's 'Reading Eagle' newspaper.

Bogie, a pure bred Dalmatian, was probably one of the smartest,
and most intelligent dogs we have ever seen, or owned. He was
born on September 13, 1984, and we brought him home from Delaware
when he was 6 weeks old. He shared his life, and love, with us until
February 2, 1998. Truly, if dogs can be your friend, he was our friend!

Several months ago, 'The 'Reading Eagle' requested their readers to
submit pictures of their pets. I had taken this picture at the Humane
Society many years prior, with a Polaroid camera, and remains one of my
favorite pictures.

Unbeknown to us, the 'Eagle' elected to select my picture for publication
this Christmas time. The Humane Society's "Santa Claus" was a friend,
and fellow employee, when we worked for the City of Reading.

Please focus on Bogie's eyes. I think this is priceless!

Holiday cheers ... and Merry Christmas to all, ..."and to all, a good night".

Absolutely priceless, it brought a smile to my face. It's amazing how dogs become such a part of the family, I hope you have a wonderful X-mas, and "Heidi" is bringing you just as much joy!

Pretty cool. I am sure that you miss him. I have a cat taht I wouldn't take any amount of money for. Amazing what comfort and job a pet can bring. Merry Christmas

Marc ... Thanks for the good wishes. I was amazed at your SRX
"snow globe"! Just fabulous. How could I possibly get a 'copy'?

It would make a great screen-saver.

It would make a great screen-saver. Unfortunately the size of that SRX Christmas gif image is only 150x149 pixels. It was made up to be able to fit a standard size Avatar so it is way too small to use as a screen saver. If you want a copy of it all you have to do is right click on the animated gif image above and save it. If you want me to email you one instead just send me a PM with your email address and I will be glad to send it to you. :D
