I bought an 06 sts with navigation and of course there isn't a DVD in the changer. Is there any particular DVD or can any cadillac model and year be used? Are these interchangeable between other GM vehicles?

Go here and do a search: http://www.gmnavdisc.com

Different discs for different vehicles.

It is about time to ask the part number of the latest DVD. Any new buyers out there?

We got our last free one 10 months ago but it was the previous years two disk set. Is there a new one for us & 'Vettes 2011?

I obtained a 'backup copy' which I made a 'backup copy' o the 2010 disc that I have in my V and moms (deceased) '05 -- her new car had the '10 disc in it.. Which is 20861474 (version 6)

What brand disk did you use for the backup copy. I've tried Sony, Dynex, and Memorex and none of them work in my STS. The Dynex worked for a little while but won't read now. Stock disk works fine but want to use a copy to protect the original.

I used Memorex --- DVD-DL+ -- Make sure you change the book type to DVD-ROM -- Sounds like that may be your problem. I would reccommend creating an .ISO of the original then burning that from file.

When I created my back up on memorex, I force the burner to burn at 1X. It has been a year and I don't have any problems.
