: One Time STS Lockpick Sale

The STS Lockpick was created because of the forum members on this board. We sold our first STS Lockpicks to forum members here before they were even built and we appreciate all the support we have received from this forum.

As we have streamlined the different versions over the past few years we have been able to drop the price. First units sold were over $300 and our current prices have been $249.95 for the Modified and $199.95 for the unmodified versions.

Only until the end of this year we are going to offer them for $50 off making it only $149.95 unmodified and $199.95 for the modified. We will change the prices back on 1/1/11 so if there is interest now is the time.

Since we sell these to many auto shops and non forum members we will not change the price on our website but you can use the following coupon code: CFORUMSLPS to deduct the $50 from your shopping cart.

I hope everyone has a healthy and happy new year and as always if you have any questions let me know.

Ordered one! Thanks for the sale!

On the modified one; can you just leave the switch on all the time or do you have to turn it off/on to make it work?

Good. Maybe more people will buy them and stop trying to rig ways to get around it.

Yeah, I hadn't read it in enough detail before, but now I get it. Engage lock pick to access what you need while moving, but GPS stops working. Then disengage and GPS will come back.

Thanks.

Just a reminder that this one time sale ends Friday. All non modified lockpicks have been shipped some last week and the balance today.

The Modified Lockpicks if yours did not ship last week will ship hopefully tomorrow. We ran out of one of the connectors and the parts have been stuck at a UPS sorting facility since Xmas due to the storm on the east coast. We are hoping the parts will finally come in today.

We normally sell 3-4 units a month and I personally build them. On the last day of the sale we sold around 15 units and each unit takes an hour or so to put together. Between my full time job and 3 young kids I only have a few hours a week to work on these. I work my full time job almost 12 hours a day, last night I was up till 2am working on these lockpicks. You will see all orders placed by 12/31 will move to shipped as soon as the carriers pickup later today.

Tomm,
Thanks for the quick reply, it was fine just was wondering about the time frame. I did notice you said something about waiting on parts to make them so I didnt know if you were still waiting. Im a engineer so I completely understand the time frame in building custom electronics. Cant wait to install, also do you have any of the key FOBs(#1) left, saw the other post. Thanks for your time

tomm

Yes, I have one # 1 FOB left but your lockpick already shipped so if you want it, it would have to ship separately. You can send a $48 paypal payment to paypal @ bestradardetectors.net if you want the last one.

At the prices of this one time sale we made no money. The sale was just a way to thank the members of this forum for their continued support of our company. The sale is over and will not be repeated. Thanks for your interest. I did send you a PM as well.

So to make an outgoing call via the nav system you have to:

1. activate lockpick
2. make call
3. deactivate lockpick to resume normal functionality?

??

sba300

...or make a quick call when you're waiting at the light. That seems like too much work for making a phone call. Alternatively you can also use the voice recognition. Does everyone keep switching back and forth? It seems like you would want to your lockpick on unless you need the NAV functionality. What are your thoughts?

I don't my Lockpick for Bluetooth. The one function the VR does well is the phonebook; it's your own voice recorded. Recognition is near 100%.

I rarely activate the lockpick to dial the phone from the screen. It's more usual use is for all the other stuff, navigation, configuration, etc.
