Do you have ignition wires going to your spark plugs, or the "cassette" type ignitor for each back of cylinder heads?

Hes asking if your N* has 4 coil packs mounted on the rear head which have wires running to each spark plug or if you have C.O.P. (coil over plug) set up.

Then if there are no ignition wires, you have roller "style" heads. Look in the northstar section of engines and differences. Read what it states for changes in 2000. I suggest you get a new mechanic.....

the reason im asking is because when i asked him about it and all he said if they wher roller cams he would have had to remove the cams from the Cylender heads or something like that before he put the new block on or something maybe i miss understood somethign he said

David is a good mechanic - misunderstanding maybe? Because I know he is not clueless - Pup your car is definitely roller cammed.....
