: Looking for a Houston area dealer that knows what he's doing.

I was at Tom Peacock Cadillac the other day and I asked about having a used OEM radio from another CTS synced with my V. I service guy there was not sure that could even be done and he wanted $126 (an hour labor) to try it and he gave me no garrentee it would work.

I know this can be done and it should cost no more than $40. Does anyone have the name and number of a dealer that knows what the ?&?^% they are doing?

Maybe if you came up with a "how-to" from somewhere it would increase their comfort level? It's worked for me in the past when circumstances forced me to use a caddy dealer.
Holy CRAP!!! They must not be selling any cars and trying to make it all on the back end!

FWIW I've heard that Sewell bought McGinnis Caddy, they're actually going to tear down the dealership and build new...honestly it might be worth the drive up to Dallas to see what they can do, call them first.

Recently I've had good luck with Stewart downtown, I speak with the shop foreman directly...he's the V dude.

David Taylor always treated me right back when I was still under warranty.
