What are the paint codes you found? You are going to get two different names for paint, because Cadillac named their differently than what was used on other GM's; it's the exact same color but, for example, Cadillac would call GM's Dark Sapphire metallic, Diplomat Blue. If you are looking for touch-up paint, the color will be listed under the generic color name.

your car looks like cameo ivory, according to this thread
cadillac paint codes (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/rwd-19xx-1984-deville-fleetwood-1985/177276-official-cadillac-color-names-paint-codes-2.html)
the images showing the paint colors are on page 2.

also, what color is the pinstriping. looks like orange/ brown

Ok going from what I have seen on here I looked at the tag on the firewall and im getting on the 2nd row of numbers
"67H 60L 67T"
3rd row
A97 67X

Now I saw if you look for i think it was the tag in trunk the letter "U - & L " i think thats what I saw in a post
Here are those I hope this pic shows up:

The Poster : TWasArroundHere has the same looking color his might be a little lighter from pics in his "Cadillac Photoshoot!! " post

cadillac kevin Great post looks like it could be that im gonna have to check with a paint shop to get some to see if thats it just sounds lighter then it looks I guess. Yes the PinStripe is the orange/brown

67T is your top color; Cadillac Brier Brown

60L is the exterior color; Cadillac Sandy Gray

67H is the interior color; Cadillac Brier Brown

A97 currently indicates remote entry without anti-theft; probably had different significance in'84. I don't know what 67X indicates, but it might be for any panels that could have come in a different color.

Could the 67x be for the pinstripe?

Thanks for the code breakdown.

But looking at that color it just dont see to fit.... maybe its a re-paint with a different color. Its more like beige then a grey. Even looking at the pictures rom that paint code list that was posted here it still done seem to fit. Il have to get in touch with TWasArroundHere and see what color he used it might be that sandgrey but my eye just dont see it....

Thanks anyway for the fast help. Thats the one thing i can say aut this board - If you ask People will know and help fast.

I dont think the car was a repaint. there are slight variances in color from batch to batch. it could be the lighting of the pic too, because the color of the car appears more tan in the first pic (1st post) and more silver in the second post. but either way, whatever paint color the tag says it is, it is. but like I said, I'm sure the color of the paint changed a bit from batch to batch, so not all cars in the same factory color would necessarily be the same hue.

still, that's a sweet classy car. I actually like the rims (would have gone a size or 2 smaller, but thats just me.) I think a slightly lowered stance ( maybe 2 inches all around) would help the look.
