My Escalade has begun having problems starting in cold weather. It will crank as long as I let it, but won't start until after many attempts. This morning I tried 10 times (with a several seconds in between each) then let it sit for about 15 minutes and tried again. It started on the 6th try. It was consistently starting on the 2nd try for the last couple months but this new cold snap (especially the past two mornings) really sent it for a loop. I can hear the fuel pump kick on when I turn the key to on. Definitely seems to be a fuel and temperature related issue. It had a new battery less than a year ago. Ideas we've kicked around are fuel pressure, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, etc. Any help as to what best fits the symptoms and troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated.
