Is the oil filter one that drops in somewhere or is it like most traditional ones that spin off? Have not crawled under my car yet due to time but bought filter at NAPA and was handed one that dropped in. Where is it located anyways? I know it is a niave question.

Is your car a v6 or v8? More than likely on the driver side under hood.
V6. Under all the plastic?
