i have a 2002 escalade, its AWD. ive started hearing a humming noise on the front left tire while im driving above 20mph, when i turn left and right i still here it. its starting to get annoying, CAN ANY ONE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE???? :crying:

sounds like a wheel bearing (hub) needs to be changed not to hard to do yourself costs a small fourtune at a shop

Easy way of checking wheel bearing: Jack offending wheel off the ground, grab ahold of tire at the 12/6 o'clock postion, alternate pushing and pulling with each hand, if wheel "rocks" up and down.....presto its the wheel hub bearing.
As stated pretty easy to replace, AS long as the bolts are not corroded. If the bolts are corroded torches may be needed. I changed the drivers front in 15 minutes, but I drove a southern truck.
FYI I paid $135.00 from Federated Auto Parts for the replacement bearing.

I agree with wheel bearing diagnosis based upon the info given. I did one of mine a couple of months, not too expensive and not hard to do.
