I found a great mechanic in Rochester ny.

He changed my timing belt and tentioners, pullies, and waterpump. he filled my differantial, and installed my snows for a great price.

waterpump $78
timing kit $309 came with brackets and all!!
labor 3.5 hrs @ $68.50 hr=$240

Total $630 parts and labor

plust $20 to install the snows, and NYS taxes!

$732.11 I think I got a good deal. He pulled off the timing belt and found it was cracked all over the face, he thinks it was original!! am I lucky or what.

Drove today with the 4 blizzaks.. its amazing in the horrible snowy weather!
Ill try to get a pic up soon!

That is a good transaction. Great to hear about good mechanics as well.

The condition of the timing belt reminds me as well what mine looked like. Mine was original too and I changed it myself around 100,000 miles on my 2001 Catera.

Cheers.
