Personally I hate this damn holiday and this thread was just a ruse to post awesomeness!!!!

I'd say that pretty much takes the 'Christ' out of Christmas.

That made me ill:ack:
It is more suitable for Halloween, not Christmas.

Never saw that one, but this ones been floating the net for years. I think it's synchronized much better.

Yeah that one's even cooler, they have enough lights to really fill out all the music. Hate to see that light bill though

Im for anything that pisses off easily offended "tolerant" religious nut jobs. Two thumbs up.

I'm for anything that exposes hypocrites that hate what Christmas represents yet still buy into all the pomp and circumstance of the commercialism.

Seriously. It's Hallmark Tree Day.

Has anyone ever set up one of the Synchronized displays? They're actually pretty simple. Then you set up a transmitter and people sit in front of your house blocking traffic, so they can tune their radio to the right frequency and watch/listen. Not really a Slayer fan, but it is a nice change from the annoying 8-bit music the guy up the road plays 24/7 all December long.

Personally, I no longer do much for Christmas displays. For one, I am not a Christian (or Viking) and besides that, I really don't see many Carolers in Florida, so it's not as if people would be stopping by and I would have to make the yard/house look nice. In fact, if they DO, I am most likely going to turn the sprinklers on.

Hate to see that light bill though

Probably MARGINALLY cheaper than mine is in October. I only keep my decorations out for one day though, so I am technically paying less.

The people who actually celebrate Christmas for the birth of Christ is cool, but I just hate how our culture has whored out this once religious holiday for commercialism and the almighty dollar.

Also, that Slayer lights display, the way the guy picked out the colors, positioned the lights, and the strobes just makes the whole thing look creepy. Kind of reminds me of the house from the Amityville Horror.

Those are cool!

The house they used in The Amityville Horror? I like that house. All their next-door neighbours are my family though, so I would rather not live there.
