: Climate control Issue

Morning:
I have read a thread or two on here regarding an issue I am having with my heater. It seems there always seems to be hot air blowing on my feet on the drivers side....even if the climate control is OFF. Annoying esecially when the outside temp is comfortable enough to just open a window for ventilation. This seems to only be on drivers side.
I read somewhere that perhaps it had to do with a battery disconnect, and the computer was not allowed to reset? Does this sound correct?
If this sounds legit, what should I do to try and remmedy this situation?
Shall I simply disconnect battery for 15 min? Then reconnect and do nothing for 15 min or so? Will that be enough or do I need to start, and leave climate off for a while while it resets??
Not certain what the exact procedure is. Any help would be appreciated.
THANKS

It's probably on heat and then you turn it off?

What you need to do is put it on recirculate before turning it off. If you leave it on fresh air, all it does it continue to let the fresh air in, just without the fan blowing. If you hit recirculate, it closes the outside air flap and then when you turn the unit off, there's no additional air coming into the vehicle.

It should do the same thing when the cold a/c is on as well...
