: Rough idle in cold weather

Just bought an '03 escalade with 100K miles this summer and its been a great vehicle so far. As the cold weather has started rolling in, I've noticed that it will idle rough for about 3 or 4 minutes if its below freezing. After it warms up a bit, it runs great. It was really cold the other day and it popped the SES light and I even noticed the RPM were going up and down by almost a range of 300. Even when I was driving it some in the driveway, it was surging a little bit here and there while it was cold. And again, once it warmed up, all was well.

I pulled the codes and got the following:
C0455 - something about stability system (have no clue if this one relates to the problem)
P0101 - Mass Air Flow Sensor

My money is on the P0101. I'm going to head out today and clean out the throttle body and make sure all the sensor plugs are connected, but wanted to see if anyone else runs into this problem in low temps and if there is a known fix.

Thanks!
