IMO the original Charger SRT8 is the best looking car in the Chrysler lineup, that R/T isnt too bad, dont like the tail lights though and those red seats look cheap and like ass. The 4 door Wranglers are nice, especially when tricked out. The new Grand Cherokees are also pretty nice but I think the exterior design could use some tweaking. A Jeep is still the only way they would ever get a dime out of me though.

The Durango looks like crap.

That Charger is a 100x improvement styling and interior wise, good move. Still has two-too-many doors though.

Design appeal is coming up considerably. Too bad the materials don't live up to design.

I liked the Charger before. I really love that 2011. Hugo improvement. Only thing I would change is the side body lines. Instead of the single large "indent" I would like to see the smaller dual "indents" that were on the '60's and '70's Chargers. The interior kicks ass

Sorry, the Charger looks like someone took the top from a much smaller car and welded it to a bigger car's bottom half. Pretty soon we will be having horizontal gun slits for side windows!

I was going to ask if the interior quality is better than it looks...

Damn! That new Charger is hot! I never cared for the current Charger, and I still think it has two doors too many, but I liked how the Charger and 300 brought back the RWD/V8 to the full size sedan segment. The new Durango looks MILES better than the current one. I really like how it's long, low and lean compared to the current one's tall boxiness. More vehicles need to follow that trend. Good to see it's still a V-8 powered full sizer too, not some downsized V6 crossover thing.

wow, the dashboard of the new charger is really a nice piece, i am excited to see there other cars, persoanlly i hate dodge but these dodges really have me thinking twice

11-28-10, 12:07 PM
I had to look twice at the Charger... the nose makes it look just like an EVO.

No where near identical, but the basic lines are incredibly similar.

Really digging the new Charger, a definite improvement over the old one. And I love the red leather, glad to see that somebody is gutsy enough to offer something besides black, grey, or blah beige.

So is the "392 Hemi" a new motor or what??? I'd buy a new Challenger over a Camaro or Mustang just on looks alone.

11-28-10, 02:23 PM
All 3 look better. I'm really liking that Challenger...

Their interiors are looking better, as long as Mattel and Fisher Price don't supply the plastic it might turn out nice.

11-28-10, 02:47 PM
A+ to these very attractive American made beauties! :)

11-28-10, 02:52 PM
The Durango looks like a stretch Nitro with a generic Acura suv rear end and Charger headlights. The leather in the drivers seat of the Charger looks like you could punch a hole through that cheap crap with anything in your back pocket. The "new" interiors just seem like what every one else was doing 3-4 years ago and nothing "new". I do like the fact that they updated the Jeep interiors, it was long needed.

I actually like the look of the new Durango and it looks like it has benefited the most from updated dash materials. I like the aggressive lines and stance of the new Charger too. I just hope the interior materials feel better in person than they look in the pictures. That's my biggest complaint with CDJ products.

I love the Challenger & want to order one. I like the crazy colors, like that Fabulous Fuschia - THE plum Crazy and the white car with blue stripes. Wife say NO NO NO NO ! Damn
she doesn't know that I am in love with that car.

I have always been partial to MOPARS and Caddies.
Parents had 8 or 9 Imperials during their life and I have had 4 Imperials, 1 Charger, and a Dodge royal Monaco Diplomat Coupe.
Time to sell the Cherokee and get a SRT-8 Challenger.
wife says no. always no stay single.

I do love the return of the High Impact colors as well. Go ManGo! :D

This is what I was thinking when I saw the pics. It looks like the rear end of a Ford escort is cut and pasted to the ass of the charger.

Any way, excluding the rear end of Charger, I can see some improvements, especially in interior design of the cars. BUT the important question is are all of these just options that you need to pay for them one by one, and base Dodges will be totally stripped-down cars or not?

I do hate the marketing strategy of Dodge! Whatever you see and like are just options, and the base level cars are totally crap! Do you have seen one of those base Cahrgers that come with 2.7L engine?

11-29-10, 06:10 PM
she doesn't know that I am in love with that car.

Maybe she knows and that is why she does not let you buy the Charger!:p

11-29-10, 09:48 PM
The Challenger is one hot piece of American Iron! I love it. The Charger........not so much. Now if Chrysler ever decides to make the Charger look like a '68-'70 model.......................:cool2:

11-29-10, 11:20 PM
Dash of the new Charger looks great, now they just gotta replace that cheap looking dash in the Challenger

So is the "392 Hemi" a new motor or what???.

I'm assuming its just an enlarged version of the 6.2
