Hope everybody enjoyed their Thanksgiving. Here's mine:

Just me and my niece for dinner today. Took her to the train station in Portland afterward so she could spend the rest of the weekend with her family in North Dakota.

Instead of a full turkey, I made a roasted turkey breast:

Diced up the potatoes before boiling them:

Minced garlic for the potatoes:

Heating up the butter and chicken broth for the stuffing:

http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs993.snc4/76679_467773733093_776743093_5434651_3421384_n.jpg

Took under 90 minutes for the turkey, and it came out very moist with good flavor:

http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs1177.snc4/154911_467773748093_776743093_5434652_2356548_n.jp g

Potatoes and stuffing came out nicely as well:

http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs1204.snc4/155661_467773783093_776743093_5434655_1696316_n.jp g

Now that I'm back from Portland, I can reopen that bottle of wine and have dessert:

no im not trollin and yes thanks giving is religous if pasover is also
cause passover is my tahnks giving we are basicly giving thanks for when we where free
and thanks giving is giving thanks for what ever reason the ones who celibrate it is

i guess ill just wait and look for a happy easter thread or

and then exspect it to be locked and if not then ill just start crap about that so ill wait till the holidays and see what happens casue if mine was closed id esxpect anothers to be closed

Thanksgiving is not religious. You're just being ignorant for the sake of hearing yourself talk. Thanksgiving celebrates the landing at Plymouth Rock, technically, which is not in any way religious.

yeah and im proud to have said that at the time

but for my thread to be removed without even an explanation
then to be closed for the reason it was

makes this no difrance holiday for non religion or religion is all the same its a holiday
and if one is removed then the others should be closed and or removed also

im just going to wait till someone says Merry X-Mas this year or happy Easter and report it and protest till it gets closed or removed

It's in the rules. No religious discussion. They're up at the top of the page if you feel compelled to click and read them. By signing up for the forum, you voluntarily agree to said rules.

It isn't the moderator's fault that you didn't read them, therefore your thread got locked and deleted with no explanation - because one was already provided for you by signing up

I miss having an empty ignore list. :(
