I'm trying to find an affordable way to hook my iPod & iPhone up to my stereo. I would like to be able to plug in my iPhone & iPod, have Bluetooth capabilities with my iPhone, and ideally charge both of them. Any ideas on a cheaper way to do this than replacing the entire head unit? Thanks!

I didn't want to spend $100 on the bluetooth kit for my Pioneer radio.

I ended up getting a LG HFB -500 Bluetooth kit with a solar panel charger. Its mounted right at the top of the windshield and I've had great sucess with it. Best part about it - $5 after mail in rebate.

I purchased a iPod hook up for $130 from coastel tech. Gm lock pick its called. But it doesn't have Bluetooth. You can even use the steering wheel buttons. It works off the XM radio. Easy to install too

Good luck

I have the factory iPod interface #uPAC-GMC2 from PAC and it works flawlessly. Use steering wheel controls and plugs into the XM interface

and

for bluetooth, if you don't use OnStar at all, you can get a box that replaces it and use the OnStar function as your bluetooth...

PAC's iSimple products work well also, I have one for mine and have an iPod connected to one source and an additional stereo connected to the other input. I replaced my indash 6-disc changer with an aftermarket stereo(JVC that I had laying around) with an iPod input too, plus USB. I ran the front RCA's from the radio into the aux adapter and then the sub output to my sub amp so I could have bass. Easier than rewiring the whole vehicle for an aftermarket replacement of the OEM Nav. Works very well, no issues so far.
