As far as I know, all LED taillight units have to be replaced as a unit. Replacement of individual LEDs is not an option.

None of the LEDs on a 2004 and 2008 DTS or on a 2004, 2005, and 2009 CTS-V have given me any trouble. So, I have not had a reason to look up the replacement parts.

I made a partial mistake in my last post. I indicated that the 2004 and 2005 CTS-V had LEDs. That is an error. The brake/turn signals on those cars were actual incandescent lamps that could be replaced individually. They were not LEDs. The high or center mount brake light on the trunk was a gas discharge light with a high-voltage power supply that had to be replaced as a unit. Again, it was not an LED unit.

I ordered LED from NewGMParts.com online, cost me $120.00. Mine did the same, a few LED's started to burn out on one side.
Very easy to install....take of trunkliner and remove a few nuts.

That's good to know as most other bulbs on DTS's seem to be quite an adventure
