I tow an 8.5x22+4' v-nose with a race car in it on a regular basis. Tows fine, even if the mileage (7.5mpg) is a bit ugly.

I HIGHLY recommend a ProPride 3P hitch. Expensive, but SO WORTH IT:

i tow a 8.5x20 and it's fine... but you will go outside to see if you have a hole in your gas tank because of the bad gas millage if you don't get a v-nose.

you should be good..... if you get a tandem trailer they usually have 2 3500 pound axels. but a singleaxel is about 3000-3500 lbs.

Speaking of towing... it says on my hitch that I am rated at 10,000lb, but my manual says I can only pull 8,300lb. Why can the Tahoe 5.3L 4x4 and I believe the Tahoe 2009 6.2L (same drivetrain we have) pull 10,000lb?

The Tahoe can only tow 8600 lbs , they only come w/5.3 Suburban 3/4 ton can tow up to 9600 lbs w/ 6.0 352 hp .

Got it, thank you for letting me know. I had it mixed up I guess. I guess I won't be pulling an AirStream Panamerica now....

I was thinking about buying an enclosed trailer for my Polaris Ranger. The trailer I was looking at is 8.5 x 14.

Do you guys have problems seeing around a trailer that wide with your stock ESV mirrors? I was worried about being able to see to make a pass.

Thanks

The stock mirrors are surprisingly good - far better than they were on my 2002 Sierra HD. I can see down my trailer just fine.

Hauling starts next weekend , the sleds are ready , winter wheels are on . Come to think of it the only reason I have the EXT is for pulling the 26' trailer , but it turned into my favorite daily driver , my gals too !!
