: Leaning on the driver side!

Hi Guys,

For the longest time (probably ever since I bought it new), I've noticed my 08 ESV is not totally level.

When parked on flat level ground, either looking at it from the front, or from behind, I've noticed that the driver side of the vehicle is a touch bit lower than the passenger side.

It's not that noticeable, alot of people don't notice it, only me and a few young friends of mine actually noticed the lean.

Is there a chance this is normal and just happens when the vehicle is off (ie. the pump hasn't initialized yet)?

Lol, ya!

I totally forgot about it, and someone mentioned it the other day sitting on the patio at starbucks.

Told them it was my "Swagga" (I donno how it's spelled, haha).

Check front struts for any leakage.

My 02 was like that when I first bought it. They adjusted the torsion keys and it was fine.

There's no torsion keys on an '08. It's a strut front end, and it shouldn't lean. If it's under warranty take it in. Probably a bad strut or spring on that side.

They all do it, look around.
GM trucks have been leaning to the left for a Decade or more. Just like the electorate in 2008.
One reason is that the fuel tank is on the left side of the body.
Don't ask me why they don't compensate for it somehow but they don't.

took my 2010 in today to the dealer to see what can be done. its almost an inch on the driver side. Only noticedd this weekend after I had installed some splash guards and one sidfe looked longer than the other!
