Hello - I have a 78 Deville with a great vinyl top and am wondering what is best to use to protect it during winter - I tried Armor All but that just seems to wash off and cloud the windows. Someone recommended a convertible top cleaner/protector but I'm not sure if that would be too harsh.

It does have one little cut that I'd like to repaire - not sure what to use for that either -- contact cement?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I use a product called 303. It protects vinyl that is already in nice shape and acts as a sunscreen. I've used it for years and it has kept my vinyl, both inside and outside the car, looking like brand new.

I've been told to use neutral shoe polish. Something I'm going to try, on one of my cars this winter.
