Howdy I couldn't find any reference to this most revered vehicle using the search button going back to 2005, so I hope you do not mind this newbie starting a new thread on the subject.

John Aible the owner sent me some pics of his gorgeous Petit Pataud replica and I have written a brief description of the legend behind it on my Gettin' a lil' psycho on tyres blog (http://psychoontyres.blogspot.com/2010/11/conspicuous-underdog-petit-pataud.html), the story of this more or less stock vehicle has fascinated and inspired me ever since I first read about it as a teenager.

If any one has anything they would like to add about either the original car, it's trip to Le Mans, or subsequent life as a towing rig & shop car, I'd be most grateful to hear about it either here or on my blog.

Thanking you in anticipation of your responses.

Where is that car in Florida? That would be awesome to see. :)

I am not a hundred percent sure on the where about's of the car but Florida might be a good guess :-)
