Has anyone noticed the newer models have clear plastic dividers between the two moonroof buttons? I was wondering if they are to ease use without having to look at them. I think they are not aesthetically pleasing.

They are odd huh? Off topic, but curious...Anyone have one button close? Mine opens with one touch to open, but not to close.

Nope...mine is like yours.
One touch open...but have to hold the button to close it.

I think express close was added later...they realized chances are no kids will get their fingers stuck if it closes too fast. I wish that the front door allowed express close on rear windows and rear doors were touch to close. Instead, both front and rear door buttons have to be held to close. What am I complaining for, I got the car I wanted since I was 15.

My 98 dodge intrepid had express close on the moon...Also my 06 Impala had it.
You are right though Lev...Small price to pay for having a dream car.

Hi Roger, what year is your DTS?

I have to hold the button down to close the moonroof on my 2009. I wonder if it was on 2010s?

Kenwood...I was given a 2010 DTS as a loner a few weeks ago and it did not have one touch close.
