Get the M5! Its around the same price or less than the 745, not as big, and really sporty. Did i mention fun to drive?

BMW's are very good cars, I have owned 2 of them, and my parents have or still own 5 of them. The 745 is a great car, I personally like the looks of the 740's the best, not really into their new design, the front looks great but the trunk does not cut it for me, but just take on drive down the highway in a 745 and you will be sold.

There is no 2004 M5. If you want a new M5 you will have to wait until the redesigned '05 - '06 model hits the US. We're talking a 500 HP V-10 with a sticker of about $90K + 1st year dealer markup of $10K+

The 745 is also a nice ride, but I like the lines and style of the 740, too. Bangel is killing BMW with his "designs." I'm having a hard time accepting the new body of the 5 series, and this i-drive concept has too many flaws :rant2:

Many of the interior funtions are controlled by a "joy stick" and there has been reports of problems with that, it does take some getting used to. You may want to check out this BMW forum

Hi Everybody

Some years ago, I had a M5, it was a good car, but now it still going as old, so wait to the new one. ;)

I just own a 7-Series with Diesel-Engine. Still has a lot of power (218 PS and 500 Nm). Works great and I make about 38 mls per Gallon!! :bouncy: :bouncy:

I-Drive is great, I have no problem with it, its like on a computer with the mouse. If I drive with an other car, I have some problems with the lot of knobs in it (I was driving a CTS some weeks ago, and it was very strong for me, a lot of knobs :bonkers: )

If good weather I prefer to drive with my Z8...that is pretty nice....also with my Eldo.. :bouncy: :bouncy:

all the best from Switzerland
