I want to throw a can of fix a flat in the back of my truck just in case my wife is driving some where and gets a flat. My question is if the fix a flat is used in an emergency will it damange the TPM sensors? Thanks for the answers

Bad idea... don't use it.

google "fix a flat with tpms"

Had a flat out in the country. Had a can of fix a flat. I've used it for years on other cars. So, I used on my Prius tire. Went to the nearest WalMart to have tire fixed. They said, "Bad News" The Fix a Flat had ruined the TPMS

Yes it will mess up the TPMS sensor. There is a small hole in the sensor that reads the tire pressure, if that hole gets clogged (which it will with Fix-A-Flat) the sensor is not able to read tire pressure. Have someone break the tire down, alot of times you will find something sticking through from the inside of the tire.

There is a Fix-A-Flat that can be used by even with a TPMS. I used it before and was still able to reuse the TPMS when I replaced the tire.
