I was afraid after adding the Dynomax exhaust, she'd think it was too loud. To my surprise from no where she asks me what I did to make it sound like that. And until then, I was driving to keep it queit. I asked her if she liked it and she said yes, what did you do?

But since she never said anything about the wheels, why would I think she would care about the exhaust.

Oh, and in SoCal my suspension set-up feels like it's on the soft side. Which might be a good thing. I'm thinking of doing to Chevy Extreme bumpstop though. Has anyone do this?

I just added the Impala SS springs and the zq8 (xtreme) bumpstops last sunday. A few months ago I added the 2nd gen f-body swaybar (big difference) with 1le bushings and endlinks. I haven't got to drive it yet with the springs and bumpstops because the ac drain elbow was missing and it had about 2" of water in the pass floor, so I added a long piece of 1/2" hose to the drain and ran it down to the frame. I pulled the seats and carpet out saturday took 3 days to dry the carpet. I got it all back together last night but didn't have time for a spin. so if you haven't checked you ac drain a 5 minute fix will save you a lot of headaches down the road. I'll let you guys know how it does with the springs.

I just put SS springs in my car, and I went with KYB shocks. I didn't know about the bumpstops though. Where do I get them? Another thing I found out after I installed my KYB's, is that Monroe makes a severe service shock that is supposed to stiffer than the really expensive bilsteins. Something worth looking into if your gonna redo the suspension. I had to cut a coil on the springs to get the ride height I wanted. I bought the heavy duty suspension springs from a guy at the impalassforum. I didn't realize that there were different springs available from GM. The car rides real nice now
