Gee, I wonder where Ford got that idea for the hood mascot? Did Chrysler market Plymouyth bodies with Dodge front clips and called "Diplomats" in Canada as they did in so many other countries?

I believe so.

The Pontiac Parisienne - a Canadian version of the Bonneville, from 1958 to 1986. In 1983 it entered the U.S. market under the same name until it was axed in 1986.

I would kill for a 2 door version of this car, an early 80's model. I'd trade most of my Caddy's off for it. Oddly enough I am serious.

The ordinary ford car was called a meteor, the dodge truck was called a fargo.

That's an extremely nice one Mike! Sad to think that Pontiac went from someone who made those to making Sunfires and Grand Ams.

I wish I had more money right now :(

My dad had a 1958, a 1964 Custom Sport, a 1979, a 1983, and a 1986.
I had a 1983, a 1985, and a 1986.

My 1985 was my project car that I should never have sold. That had the 403, the headers and true duals right out the back, a custom trans crossmember constructed by yours-truly and I installed a limited slip rear end. I still miss the torque.....

Edit : I had snowflakes on it too. I'll post a pic someday if I can ever find it. If anyone ever finds 8" wide snowflakes, don't toss them out. They were rare.

Yeah, if that thing had buckets and it were a 77-79 it would be even more awesome!

Dammit I wish the wagon had the smaller bolt pattern! There are no good wheels in 5x5. They're all ****ing truck wheels!@$@!#$@#@@#$@%#

All the cool ones are for the 5x4.75 :(

Stingroo - you can change your wagon to the 4.75 pattern. All the parts exist.

She went for $5700 Boys.....
I had found that one prior to reading the forums, and would think about cruisin it before falling asleep at night for last week.....what a beauty, although I am partial to a 4-door due to family of 5.....although the 2-doors are plenty big too.....
