do you recommend buying a 2000 w/26000 mile on it. I have heard good and bad things about all models but is it worth me spending the money!!! It is not the sport model.

The 2000 and 2001 don't seem to have much issues.

I would say it's an acceptable buy at that price.

The price seems reasonable if the car is in good shape. I've read some of the threads on problems with the crank sensor failing on the 98 models. This happened to my 2000 last year and also to my Mom's 2001, so those years also have problems with the OEM crank sensors. Other than that I have had no problems with the 2000 nor has my Mom with the 2001. I had a 1998 prior to this one but got T-boned after only owning it a year and the insurer totaled it. Hope this helps.
