I'm looking to purchase a used Escalade ESV. Initially I was interested in the 08 model as I found a white diamond ultra luxury with 63K miles for 36,000. I started to look at 2009 due to one year newer, blue tooth and lower miles. I've found two 09 models, one is Blue Chip ultra luxury 26K miles with 18" for 46K not certified and a white diamond ultra luxury with 22's 30K miles, certified for 50K. I prefer the white diamond color but wonder if the color, 22' wheels and certification is worth the additional 4K. I would appreciate any input on is the White Diamond certified worth the additional 4K and if the two 09's I'm looking at are worth the 10 - 14K higher than the 08. Thanks!

Does the certification get you a better warranty? FYI, the white diamond color is a higher cost color option from the factory, almost 1k more. The 2009 with the 22's will have the "magnetic ride" suspension system. Worth its weight in gold.

If you prefer the white diamond color, get the 2009 with the 22's. You will not be suffering from any remorse later on either! :) Do you really want to "what-if" this purchase??

Thanks for your replies K9Caddy. The certified is the cadillac Certified pre owned warranty. Covers for 6 years 100K, what ever comes first. Not bumper to bumper but looks to cover allot of things. This will be my first Escalade and I'm leaning to the white one. Any comments on the price being offered by the dealer? I don't have to purchase today, but if it's a good deal, no reason to wait. Any comments on the 50K price?

I paid 58k out the door for my 2009, but it was brand new. Fully loaded, every option, non-platinum. Check out KBB.com, I do not know what the going prices are used.

Certification is worth every penny.. My 07 is lux certified and it is bumper to bumper 100K or 72 months and till 11/2012... so for that alone I am for it.. you can't pay for an aftermarket warranty that covers what the factory certification handles..
