Can I put 10w30 (Ester based) Red Line oil in my 2010 Escalade?

I know the manual says 5w30, but the approved oils for GM also have a 0w30 and 10w30 listed as well. I have done an oil search, but couldn't come up with anything. Your help would be appreciated.

Yes! No problem... It does call for 5w-30, you will probably lose 1mpg switching to 10w-30.

Yes you can certainly use the Red Line 10W30 in your Escalade, it will perform well, I wouldn't expect a significant drop in fuel economy compared to the 5W30. The 5W30 and 0W30 are a little lower viscosity at low start up temperatures. In a new or fresh engine it is recommended that the rings be allowed to seat for 1500 to 2000 miles before switching over.
