So here's the only gripe I have with the board; maybe there's a way to fix it?

If you spend too much time browsing links or other materials while browsing the board, the cookie that marks when you last visited gets reset, and the board says that you visited 20 minutes ago.

So, is there a way to bump up the life of the cookie / session that the BB hands out? That way, I can keep the 'new posts since last on' features, which is good stuff.

It looks to be currently set to 15 minutes. This is more than enough for my ADD-riddled mind to jump to 20+ links before I get back to reading posts. :)

Just leave the browser window with CF in it, and then use another window for other browsing......

Well thats the problem. If you dont send any packets back and forth between you and the BB (ie, clicking on something) then the session expires, it counts it as a visit, and you lose the last posts. If I spent 15 minutes browsing with that other window, the same thing would happen. :(

I figure that a 30 minute cookie expiry would be great for everyone - then you can do what you need to - go to the bathroom even - while you read the forums! :)
