I would have thought the MPH would have been higher considering the HP numbers.

Did running the 20" Nittos "kill" some of the gearing?

I'm sure that's crank hp, not rwhp. Seems about right to me. :noidea:

Agreed. Sounded great, and I'll take 11.1 any time!

I also thought the MPH would have been higher, maybe 128. I saw a video of this car on the dyno and it made 598 to the wheels. I think the V700 sedan they tested last year did the 1/4 mile in about the same time (11.1) but the trap speed was 129mph. I'm pretty sure that sedan was a manual; I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I think the mph is good for what it is, my Buick G.N. went 10.88 at 123.xx You can sure feel these cars still pulling hard at the end of the quarter! I see the 60 foot at 1.61, might get into the tens if it wasn't on the nitto's (Mickey Thompsons req'd), thanks for sharing!

I was very fortunate to come across Don Goldman, Chairman & CEO of Hennessey Performance this morning at Cars & Coffee - Irvine, CA. He had on display Hennessey Performance CTS-V Coupe, S/N 003 or 007, I don't remember which, Thunder Grey, Polished wheels, solid roof, I think, A6, I believe. The underhood sticker / documentation plate stated eiother S/N 003 or 007, 701 HP. & I believe date and location of build. He told me that it was 644 RWHP and would either run or beat the Vette ZR1. He was a very nice gentleman to talk to and very informative and knowledgeable. Beautiful car. Hennessey V700 decal on rear in white. 2 year, 24K warranty. I talked to another person that had talked to Don and he advised me that they were running a stock exhaust on this car other than they had deleted the factory muffs and replaced them with ZO6 mufflers.
