Could one of my fellow 68ers take a picture of their engine bay, with attention to the section between the grill and radiator as well?
This car was hacked so I am looking to fix it up.
Also anybody still have the stabilizer bars for the fenders they are not using? Mine are missing and since mine is a ragtop it shakes a bit more in the front.
I would also like a picture of the '70 472 pulley set up so I can get my head around the modifications I have to do.

I am interested in how the reservoir is set up.
68's don't have them. 69 and up had closed cooling systems. I will take pictures of mine next week. If you have a shop or owners manual, it shows pretty good under hood shots.

I got the manual but the picture is no good.
So the other owner must have put the small bottle in and left this horn hanging.
So 68 had just the radiator and no bottle?
Thats right, make sure you have (get) the correct type radiator cap. Closed system radiator caps work differently.

the arms that run form the center of the firewall to the inner fenders are basically metal tubing with the ends pressed flat and holes drilled in them for the bolts to go through. Mine are also missing, so when mine goes back together, that's what I'll be using. I'm guessing 1 inch OD tubing with an wall thickness not greater than 1/8 inch would do the trick.

Thanks, looks nice.
I got a pair of 67 supports but they are too short.
Looks like I will DX that overflow bottle and just run the hose off the radiator neck and down to daylight.
I think they added that since the Caddy was in Vegas, don't get that hot here in New England.
Now I have to get a set of 425 pulleys
