I have an '06 with the V8 and 18" factory rims, I am looking to put on winter tires and was going to go to a 17" rim but lookig at the clearance between the current 18" rims and the caliper I worried that 17" may not work. Could anyone shed some light on if I can go to 17's and still have clearance from the brake calipers.
As long as you don't have brembo brakes which comes with 6 lug wheels, a 17" rim will clear the brakes.
My car has 18" factory wheels as well and I've also got some 17" wheels with winter tires.
