So..... my summer project is finally completed! My 84 DeVille is done being "restored." New paint, new interior leather, new door panels, and tons of mechanical work.... the only thing left to do is replace the stock speakers and head unit... which can wait.

But, I love taking pictures- its my hobby. So here is a photshoot of my finished Caddie I did yesterday. I played with the color in some of the photos, but there all there. What do yall think?

Thanks guys! Yea, I'm really proud of my Caddie, shes my pride and joy. I've had her 6 years now, and plan on keeping it for 30 more or so lol. My favorite pics are the close up mirror and the black and white one by the old water tower.

Good stuff....what equipment did you use on the day?

I actually prefer the water tower shot in color but agree the mirror and some of the other close up stuff is great.

The sound system shot looks like it could be used in the sales catalogue.

MudAnt, feel free to haha. I actually am having the black and white close up in the rail yard, where your looking at the back of the car, printed and framed for my office.

I actually used my new camera, its a FujiFilm FinePix, nothing too fancy. But a few of the pictures I touched up and cropped in IPhoto to give them a better look.

I would really like to see your pics, for some reason my computer wont open them,I own a very nice 80 cdv.,
so would be interested in seeing what youv'e done, I had to buy new rear speakers for mine 4 years ago. their an oddball size, 4" x 10" if I remember correctly, their not all that great, let me know what you buy and what their like,
I would really like to see your wheel caps, I would like to try something different from the spoke caps.

I got blocked on your original Flickr post but got the Photobucket post just fine. Nice car. I would have liked to have seen one or two engine room shots and a full dashboard shot. But I realise that your photo shoot was more on the artistic side than the technical. Well done!
Cheers.....R.

Hello great Shoot. I know this post a lil back in the count but im in a need of a little help if you can. You say you painted your coupe and its the color of mine but I cant fig out the code for that color. Would you know the code or the Caolor name ? Here s a link to my car and you will see its the same or almost the same.

Coupe and a train? That image set basically sums up Pennsylvanian valleys.

Awesome photos!

YES!!! Finally, someone else who has the turbine-vane (basic) hubcaps. I like them so much better than the wire caps. Great car, man!
