The time has come... looking for someone interested in taking over a 2010 CTS-V lease. 712/mos, 15,000 miles per year, and 40 months left now. Also requires money down. It is a black/black 6spd manual with all options except Recaro's.

Sad to see you getting rid of it.

Good luck!

Me too... it is a fun car, but it makes zero sense to keep it now since it would just be sitting in the garage most of the time. It is a great car, and I loved the 6spd manual. This car was awesome too... had none of the issues that most see... no sunroof rattle, no wheel clicking, no isolator noise, no rear-end noise, etc. It was a good quality build on this one and I am picky with warranty issues!

someone will get a nice car. Mine was a good quality build too, no isolator noise, even though I am replacing it, no sun roof and no wheel noise. Guess I lucked out ;)

Yes - somebody will be lucky to have this car. I have not seen any 6spd's available lately... I didn't think they were that rare.

Still available if anyone is looking for a 6spd car. I still can't believe that there are so few manual transmission cars available... none on e-bay and I think I saw just two on Autotrader.
If anyone wants to work out a deal, let me know.

What is the buy out price?

Cub Cadet
10-07-10, 08:12 AM
Buyout is right around $59k. Would be nice to have it gone before the snow flies here so that I can use my garage.

If nobody wants it before the snow flies, I will just keep it. Let me know if there is any interest.

How carmax appraised it?

Cub Cadet

nope - didn't care to go that route or swapalease route. Advertising on my own on the internet is much easier to get rid of a vehicle. I have done this on four of my previous cars.
Bring offers on either taking it over or buying it out. We can do either one right now.

I didn't get the Recaro's because they were far too uncomfortable. I do quite a bit of driving and I could not stand the Recaro's in the half hour test drive I had. The standard seats are much, much, much better if you intend to drive your car daily.
Recaro's would be good for a track only car where you would not have to live with it daily.

I agree! If I had to do it over again, I would go with the standard seats. The Recaros are great in handling situations and/or track conditions, but for everyday comfort, the standard seats are much better! My next V will NOT have Recaros and I will save almost $4K as well!

The Recaro's are a bit more work to set up but once you take the time and learn how to set them correctly, they are by far the best seats! They look so much better and the cooling is so nice as well. They are awesome for track work and fantastic for daily driving on long hauls or hours of stop and go traffic.
I've sat in the regular seats and they are just that.. regular.

Shawn, what are you asking?

GM-4-LIFE
10-23-10, 12:53 PM
I am asking what I owe which is: $57K. The car is a fully loaded 2010 Thundergray CTS-V, black interior, automatic trans, 8K miles, Recaros, Sapele wood trim, polished wheels, NO SUNROOF (a huge plus compared to my 2009 CTS-V that had the sunroof). MSRP of the car was just under $70K

I also have added the following extras:

D3 cold air intake $450.00
Borla sport exhaust kit $1499.95
Fully custom Dyno tuned at 505 RWHP/485 RWTQ $650.00
Clear bra on entire front end including front bumper, hood, headlamps, front fenders, mirrors $700
Lloyd front and rear floor mats $200.00 as I did double applique on front mats
15% window tint all around $200.00
Full LED interior lighting conversion, glove box, trunk and license plate LEDs too! $250.00
Amsoil oil change done on July 10, 2010 at 4,891 miles, no oil change due until July 10, 2011 or 22,391 miles $100.00
Had dealer do rear axle service at 2K miles

Car is over fully loaded and turn-key ready.

Let me know.

Thanks!

This car may be available again. There are some financing issues that are throwing a wrench into the current deal.

NOOOOOO :)

I'm still hoping that this one will have my name on it when your lease is up ;)

My wife sat in the wagon the other day, but didn't think it would be right for her, and she felt really bad for me.

GM-4-LIFE

When are you gonna be ready, Karch? I am itching to get the V coupe badly, so first one with the cash gets my V sedan.

Karch

Oh, it's going to be awhile.

I am in the midst of trying to do something about my mortgage, and it's really hard these days, so I am unable to take on additional debt until that's settled.

G/L with the sale.

GM-4-LIFE
12-01-10, 06:29 PM
No problem. You never know, I may have it when you are ready if it doesn't sell by then. I haven't marketed the car anywhere for sale except here. If it sells, great! If not, I will keep it.

That's all I can ask for. Just enjoy it, and perhaps I'll run into one day in the valley.

Last chance to try and get this car. The first person could not get approval through Ally... which by the way is not a very user friendly operation... and the second person wanted something for nothing. You will not be able to just take this lease over... it does require money down. In order to get this lease rate as low as it is, I put a substantial amount down. All I am asking for is 75% of that back since I have used up 25% of the life of the lease. This is a flat price that I can't waver on.
