: 94-96 Factory Chrome Wheels

09-12-10, 07:31 PM
Anyone out there know where a fellow could pick up a set of factory chrome wheels for the 94-96 Fleetwood Brougham? I found a brand new set on ebay with vogue tires for $2,200.

I found a nice Brougham for sale without the chrome wheels and though about getting it...

Thanks, Christopher

Which factory stereo do you have the one in the 93-95 Fleetwood Brougham or the one that was only offered in the 1996? This could very well help me in choosing which one I am interested in. What sort of price are we looking at for the wheels and the stereo? If you do not want to post it, you can email me at genrlrodes@hotmail.com....

Thanks, Christopher

Wow that is an amazing price!!! Hopefully in the next day or two I will have narrowed my selection down and make a decision. Have a factory stereo that I want and chrome wheels that could be swapped out, make like much easier. There are two or three that are much closer that either do not have one or the other of those options and I have been holding off on them. I am gonna reconsider these. Thanks for your help and I'll let you know how my hunt is going.

There is a nice 1995 less than 2 hours from me. It doesn't have either option... It was owned by a Cadillac Salesman that has retired, but works for the dealership yet in the shuttle service area. The car has 122,xxx miles. He recently installed new tires, new fuel pump, water pump, brakes, shocks?, radiator? and gave it a complete tune up. He is asking $4,700 for the car. It is burgundy with burgundy interior.

The other one is much further away, but is near my parents and I could take a short vacation and visit them for a while. This one, also a 1995, in white with blue interior. It does offer the stereo I desire, but not the chrome wheels. It has under 100,xxx and they are asking $3890.

Lastly, there is a 1996 that is up in New England area. It has 90,xxx miles on a blue body with blue interior. From the pictures I know it doesn't have the chrome wheels, but unsure yet as to the stereo. They are asking $4,000 for this car.

What do you all think???? Which one sounds the better route to go?

They all look good, but I like the 96 blue in Boston area. I am not a fan of white, otherwise the white one is good deal as well. There are a couple of FWB's up here in Mpls area but too high miles to mention. Best luck on your decision.....

I love that blue one as well.....I have never been a fan of white cars, but there was a white 95 Fleetwood Brougham at our store earlier this year. It was a standard Brougham without chrome wheels, but it was sweet. So much so, I went to get the camera and snap some photos of the car. It made me rethink white on these cars... I saw a couple in MNPLS area that you might be referring too. They were indeed high miles... Oh well, if one works it does and if not, my 1990 Brougham D'Elegance stills serves me well.

By the way, thefleetwoodguy, what is your price on that stereo??? If I lean towards the burgundy one, it doesn't have either option, so I'd be interested in the wheels and stereo.

That is the serious friend price on those wheels!

Well I am hoping that Wednesday afternoon to make a trip to Ankeny and look at the Burgundy 1995 Fleetwood Brougham that is for sale. From the information provided by the owner, he has likely had over $4,000 in work performed on the car, new tires, brakes, tune up, water pump, fuel pump. The car has 122,xxx miles on it. I'd image that it would be good for another 122xxx miles easily. If this beauty becomes mine, I will be wanting those wheels and stereo with the am/fm/tape/cd from you thefleetwoodguy..... I will know more by noon I hope.

That wheel price is so good, that's like "Buy them even if you DON'T buy the car."

Jim is the man.

yeah at $500 I'd take them if the General doesn't want em! ;)

09-15-10, 03:37 PM
Well I didn't make it today, as work became too busy to leave. I am planning on calling this evening and scheduling to look at the car tomorrow morning. But yeah, for the price, I'd be dumb to not just buy them. Still needing a price on that stereo too...

I am heading out to look at the burgundy 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Hoping I like it and drive it home!!! Hold those chrome wheels and stereo!!!!

09-16-10, 12:51 PM
Woohoo! Hope you get it. :)

Speaking of these, you guys might enjoy this story:

My good friend just picked up his first Caddy two weeks ago: a 1994 FWB LT1, light blue with blue cloth int. with normal alloy wheels (with new tires, even!) He was pleased with his freshly inspected, decently solid car because of its $1000.00 price tag... and even happier when the guy said "oh yeah, I've got a set of winter tires on some wheels in the basement" and proceeded to bring out a full set of CLEAN, CHROME rims with the right centers and everything!

I'm serious!

Needless to say, they will be winter wheels no longer! The plain alloys are going on in the poor season.

Well it is mine. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will get pictures up as soon as I can.... Definately want those chrome wheels and stereo thefleetwoodguy!!!!!

If it's helpful, I've got a pair of chrome wheels with no center caps that are in decent driver shape. It's only 2, mind you, but I'd be glad to let them go for $120 for the pair plus shipping.

There's a little bit of flaking in the chrome on the backsides, but the outsides are decent. I'd never pass these off as mint or anything, but they're west coast wheels, so they haven't been exposed to a lot of salt or corrosion. The tires are shot... not worth anything. I'd just have them removed before shipping.

I spy spare wheels for two individuals on this forum right there in that post.

09-18-10, 02:54 PM
Ill take those two
I can always use spares, PM sent...Jim

Hi Jim,
I tried to respond to your PM, but I haven't used the forum enough, and it says to use the forum instead of PM (???)

anyways, if you can use them, you're welcome to them. I've left you a voicemail about them. I'll get the tires removed and quote for shipping them. Can you please get me your exact shipping address?

Once I've got that figured out, paypal will work just great.

I've also got a number of business meetings this week that will mean I may not be able to jump on this right away.... I won't delay, but I won't be shipping the wheels on Monday or Tuesday!

perhaps you can email me with your address: cason@trivan.net is my email address.
