Had Autozone pull my codes (CEL was on) and I got a P0133 (Bank 1, Sensor 1, O2 sensor), P040 (emssions, fuel cap?) and the one that has me worried - a P0730 (incorrect gear ratio, think this means the tranny is sliping).

Any experience with this P0730 code? I had the tranny flushed about 6 months ago on a Winn machine, and every now and then it does seem to slip out of gear, rev up, then goes back into gear. Would a fluid/filter change do any good? I hate letting the tranny shops lose on it, the usual answer seems to be "ya' need a rebuilt transmission...."

Thanks!

133 and 40 sound emmisions (P040 - check the fuel cap for right now. retighten it)

0730... sounds like the PCM or the TCM may not be reading things right and/or it may be an internal issue. Its good to get it diagnosed first. Even if they say it may need to be rebuilt or replaced, ask them whats exactly wrong with it.
