: Local CL ads this morning. Wagon for ya, Roo

Cruising craigslist this morning, I happened to run into this:

Considering it as another fix/sell vehicle to make a little money on, I'm skeptical about what it could be sold for after repair though. Not sure I could make enough money on it to justify using it for that.

Don't see many Caprice wagons w/ leather, around here anyway. Usually cloth or vinyl.

Leather is quite uncommon. Especially since those look are the base hubcaps, if I remember right. What an odd combo.

Did you call on the olds? What's it need?

The owner doesn't know what's wrong with the Olds. I guess one day it just quit running with a CEL and a repair attempt was never made. Just wants to get rid of it.

I'm guessing it's the crank sensor...typical 3800 problem.

I don't think I'm gonna go for it. Now that I have a full school load and I really don't have the time or money to risk on this, I'm just gonna pass.

I have a ball joint on a '05 Malibu and a brake job on a '07 Magnum R/T to take care of and I'm gonna call these sidejobs quits for now. Gotta focus on school...I'm so close to being done.
