In this case about $14 a tire.

As I had noted in the VALVE CAP thread, I had Contii DWS tires installed a couple of weeks ago. So far I am completely satisfied too. For you members complaining about your car riding like an Ox Cart on wooden wheels, these tires make one heck of a difference. They absorb road imperfections so much better than the Michelin OEM's. They are also a heck of alot quieter. I also noticed that my city MPG has jumped from the upper 15's to 17.1. I will be curious how they handle the snow this winter. Good luck with your YOKO's.

Iv'e always thought, that 'ANY' tire, other than Michelins ride better.
The thread pattern looks directional, and LOOK like my Generals,Exclaim UHP's.
that I got for $ 109.00 each, 15.00 mounting/balancing.
What tread grade do these have like 540 ?
Thanks

Somehow it doubled itself. Mods, please delete this.

Yes tread grade is 540 and they are directional. Your's are UHP summer and mine are UHP All season.
I believe your tread grade is 380??

Ive also heared VERY high praise on the conti extreme contact DWS's, this is what I think im going to go with on the next tire purchase, im worried with winter coming up and these tires have the highest snow rating of an all season tire ive seen
