: Further enhancement

I had ordered the 6 piece polished stainless
steel side window set weeks before I took delivery
of my 2011 SRX. They were a snap to install, and
really make the SRX stand out.
Bye the bye, the 2011 AWD Luxury increased by $800.00,
and an additional $50.00 delivery charge.

Looks good! Have fun trying to keep fingerprints off those babies! lol

I like mine all black with the tinted -same level windows, so it just looks like one big window.

Yup, $$ more. Did we think the FREE Premium Maintenance for 2011 was really free? :rant2:

Didn't think I'd like the trim pieces, but looks pretty darn nice on yours! Enjoy!

They look good. Probably not anything I would do, but to each their own. I might put them on if the black plastic pieces show deterioration and discoloration from the sun though.

and that does happen in some climate zones/heavy chemical car washed cars . good suggestion to keep in mind.

Although they do look nice from your posted photo.... but I actually prefer the stock stealth look of black a wee bit better. :)

*I would like to see your SRX from a further distance to get a better look at them.

BTW: You are going to blind those poor on-lookers when you drive by them. :D :bling:

Your wish is my command. More than likely,
these pieces may not look as well on a light colored
SRX. I have mine on the new Mocha Steel Metallic
that Cadillac had 67933added for 2011.

I have to admit they look much better now that I see the whole SRX. :) I have the grey flannel and I think your color is very close to that too. I like to see it in person as well. Very nice combinations!

BTW: What is that white lettering say on your rear mudflaps?

It says SRX, I believe it's a couple of liftgate badges from ebay stuck on there.

BTW: Here is my SRX back when I got it in late February.

Yes, the Captain is correct. I had described them in an earlier post.
For your enlightenment, I am attaching the same picture of the logos.

May I share with you an "enhancement" that you will not find on e-Bay,
auto supply stores, and probably no jewelry stores. I did, however,
find this some time ago on e-Bay. It was listed as a "charm" from
an estate. "Needing cleaning", and an overall demeaning listing.
As I recall, I was the only bidder, and received it in the mail in a
regular envelope. Upon examination, I noticed the back appeared to
have been cast, or a lost wax rendition of fine jewelery. I worked on the
back over a period of weeks, starting with a jeweler's file, multiple
applications of emery cloth, steel wool, tooth paste, and finally
rouge and polishing. Lo and behold, it was stamped 14k. Apparently
it was cast for someone, many years ago, as it has the Cadillac Marque
with the row of ducks. It weighs in at 4 grams. Size is not charm size,
but pendant size. Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter. I thought it would
look great dangling from the mirror. In deed, it does!

The mudguards look great!

BTW: What an awesome find in that Cadillac gold piece! Great job too! :)

ICKDAY......what do you use to detail the tread on your tires? :) Lookin' good!

A: I did not apply anything on the tires. When I took this
picture, the SRX had 6 miles on the odometer! It came
directly from my dealer, and his detailing department
apparently had dressed the tires with some unknown
product before delivery. When I installed the flaps, I
noticed the tires had some sort of sticky residue on them
and I wiped it all off. They still remain quite nice looking.
