Already with my first question--need to find a source for the chrome moldings about halfway up the doors. Anyone have any ideas?

The 1977 Coupe De Ville has 33 years of dings on the moldings but they did their job and kept the doors protected

Looks like they have everything but that molding in their catalog. Will call them on Monday to check. Any other sources? Caddy Daddy does not carry it either.

Have you considered just repainting your moldings?

junkyard my friend! thats where I found the same trim off a 77 with almost no dings whatsoever, might use 'em on my 80 coupe and got the trim along the bottom of the door. These usually always gets banged up when the seatbelt is hanging out the door. These are perfect too off the same car. Went Saturday they have a triple yellow 77 Coupe there.

Looks like that (the junkyard) is my next stop--only really need the one for the passenger's door, drivers side looks good and so do the other pieces on the passengers side.
