Can anyone tell me how to drain the oil filter housing and oil pan on a 2005 sts 3.6?:bigroll:

To change oil filter on this engine, just take the filter cap off and replace filter(filter is on top under hood driver side). There will not be any oil in filter housing. To change engine oil, the drain plug is on engine pan front near the drivers' side front wheel. Oil change on this car is real simple.

This is the oil pan plug.

No kidding! This V6 has to be one of the easiest engines I have ever changed oil on.
