Ever since I took my car in for work (fix dent on passanger door) my car smells like armpit. I think I notice it coming in through the ventilation which is weird cuz they shouldn't have been working under the hood. So anyone know a good way to depderize this? Do I spray something in the intake for this? Where is the intake for the ventilation?
Dealership may have a rat/mouse problem and put poison down. Rat ate the poison, crawled into your car somewhere and died. Happened to me once!:crying2:
That's a very common problem and probably unrelated to the repair. You can go to Autozone, Checker, or your dealer and get the spray designed just for that. Set the blower on high, but make sure the system is not in recirc mode and spray into the air inlet. Personally I use Clorox cleanup in a spray bottle, but that may not be for everybody, but it sure works and kills all mode and mildew in the system.
Somewhat of an unrelated issue, but does anyone else notice that when you completely turn off the climate control system, you can still feel air coming in through the floor vents?
Sorry but I feel silly today so just don't shoot it with rightguard antipersperant but seriouly you can go to any auto parts store for products to combat your problem just ask the person behind the counter for his input.
Spray in some deoderent seems right. It really does smell like armpit. I feel like the workers were sweating into the air intake when they were working on the car in the 100 degree heat.
