Looking for a free program that will compile and display data results. We sent out a survey for requests on our convention, got about 950 back. I would like it to compile the data is see what is the most requested and least requested and don't feel like counting by hand. Maybe something I can just copy and paste all the results into and have it tally them up. I seriously looked online for about a week now and cant find anything.
excel, or any other spreadsheet program.

depends on the format of your data... like nikon said spreadsheet can help but if your surveys were replied to by hand there's nothing to do but enter the data by hand into a spreadsheet or database
Sun's Open Office is completely Microsoft office compatible. Plus it's free and works with many operating systems.

you could also use google's office suite built into their online services ... you could even have done your survey through google docs and then all your data would already be in the spreadsheet/database ready for processing
