How do you remove the rear oxygen sensor; the coolant pipes are in the way. Also looks like the A/C blower may also be in the way.

Shoulda replaced it when the engine was out.

How I did it was I sat on top of the engine and used a long extension with one of these guys (O2 sensor crowfoot) on it. Seemed to do the trick.

The shop manual states to lower the rear of the cradle down enough to gain access.

When I R & R 'ed the fan motor I could clearly see the O2X sensor and believe it can be changed from the top-dog bones removed & engine tilted forward 2".

Why do that?

On my Eldo its in the open accessible from the bottom. I believe The 96 yr model Eldo & Deville are more alike than the Seville.

Get the front of the car off the ground 8 or 10 inches & take a peak. It's pretty much wide open.
