: 06 STS Service Suspension System Light

Hey Everyone,

I am new to this forum even though this is my second caddy. I am going to post pics shortly. I have an 06 STS Northstar V8 with approximately 35k miles. The airbag light for service came on a few weeks ago. Turns out needed a new module which I had the dealership take care of. Now for the past few the service suspension light goes on periodically. I am scheduled to go back to the dealership tuesday for another repair. I didnt know if this light goes on at a certain mileage or there is a problem. Can someone let me know. I would appreciate it.

Any Mods? Do you have MRC (Magnetic Ride Control shock package)?

I do. I have a touring and performance mode. It has been on the performance mode for a while now.

You could reset it and see if it happens again. Most of the freebie code reads & cheap readers don't pull the body codes. It might be worth a good diagnosis. Know a real GM mechanic?

Some dealers are hungry for business. One might give you a loss-leader diagnosis.
