Just rolled in here by way of Google. I purchased a '95 Sedan DeVille Monday. Much nicer car than the Camry I got rid of to buy it.

Second Caddy for me, but the last one was a '72 Coupe DeVille in 1995.

I've got some little stuff to do to it. I need to have the hood painted, fix an issue with the rear passenger door, and a couple of other minor problems. The car runs great and it is nice to have some ROOM in what I drive.

Welcome abroad and smart swap!
Also please add replacement of that missing center hub into your list... Such small imperfections really degrade the overall appearance of a car...

Just waiting for a day off to go to Pull A Part. The other front one is a different hue of chrome so I need to pick up two. Hopefully I can find a couple. God knows what GM wants for the things.

To be fair my Camry was an okay little wind up car. I try my best to judge a car based on what it is for. No one buys a 4 banger, slushbox Toyota expecting to burn up the road or arrive at their destination and not feel like they need to visit a chiropractor. I bought that little beast for the gas mileage (my old Jeep had been eating me alive) and it did do that pretty well and having a station wagon was handy.

That does not mean I miss the little car. The constant break downs got old. I just didn't check the car well enough and got one that had a hard life. If you're compromising on performance and comfort you lose patience pretty fast.

For whatever reason about every 4 years or so I buy a gas saver. I snap after a few months and go back to a real car.
