$50 is rather pricey; $20 and I'd be interested.

Betty's build sheet was in the glovebox when I bought her, which I thought was a pretty incredible find:

Jaguar has offered this service to the owners of their cars for quite a while. For a nominal charge (I think it was $25.00) the keeper of the archives would pull the build sheet on your car and give the original motor and transmission numbers, and the original paint color and interior uholstery colors. I imagine some owners had quite a surprise when they found their supposedly original cars had completely different drive trains when built!

I was lucky enough to buy my car from the dealership where the car was purchased originally... so I have the original invoice on my car.

When I bought my '03 DHS down in Texas the dealer gave me the build sheet along with all the original '03 Deville brochures. I guess that was a gift for traveling 1000 miles, but it was a nice gift.

I've got the original window sticker and brochure for the Regal, along with all the brochures for the cars I've previously owned, so this isn't a major benefit to me, but I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

But be warned, not all years are available.
