Do as you please.

I just thought with the recent thread, some locals may want to attend.

Obviously their goal is to sell some cars, but perhaps your suggestions may

help. I was told there will be a V coupe for test drives.

Interestingly enough, there shouldn't be any pressure on sales, people can just come out, take some test drives, get some food, tell us your story or your problems, maybe get some new contacts inside GM. And actually have fun. If you want to buy a new car, that's OK too.:bouncy:

anonfrank: Don't know where it is going next, but there is one scheduled each month. So far it was in Long Island in May, and Philly in June, Naperville is in July. More to come!

Cool. I just remembered there was a Cadillac ride and drive event in the Cleveland area during the spring that I missed because of work. :( This is a great way to whet appetites for Cadillac products and I hope it continues. I have been checking my local servicing dealer's website for any hint of when CTS Coupes will be arriving. It looks like another home run for Cadillac. Now all they need to do is to get that 7-series competitor and the ATS out of the door and they will be hitting on all cylinders.

I'll see ya there Curtis.

Thanks for the post. As always you're right on top of the local "going's on" at Cadillac. Looking forward to getting a ride in your car too. :D

Way t'go Cadillac!!
Glad to see that there is an effort being made to connect with the customer on a personal level!
I have no doubt that the number of good will "ambassadors" out there for Cadillac will increase with each event.
Congratulations on choosong to go down this path!!

Best regards,

Elie

Matt; are you going to attend this event?

Unfortunately I did the last one, they are trying to rotate in new people at each event.

For those of you that are looking to ride and drive some other cars (Camaro SS, Equinox, Regal, LaCrosse, Terrain, I think even Cruze)here are some others that are tied to the event:

Chevrolet of Naperville 1515 W. Ogden Avenue Naperville, IL 60540
Village Buick GMC 1585 W. Ogden Avenue Naperville, IL 60540
Cadillac of Naperville 1507 W. Ogden Avenue Naperville, IL 60540

BTW: Speeding tickets are the guests responsibility, have as much fun as your wallet can afford to :>

I'd like to attend but I don't know if I'll have my car back by then. It is a week in the shop this time, 12 days last time and they still don't have the problem fixed.
Sure in the heck feels like I've bought another GM LEMON!

I can understand the frustration. But there's always a fine line between complaining and whining...

Week three with no car, is this frustration, complaining or whining?? I go on vacation the end of this week, will I have the V to take on a road trip or the trusty 15 year old Impala SS??

I'd be upset, too. But it looked like you started to get all riled up in a thread designed for something else...
