Get an education boy. onbagz2002 09-04-04, 03:29 AM XLT? Get an education boy. :wtf: skides1 09-04-04, 04:00 AM My bad Onbags2002. I am wondering what model, year, make, bodystyle the man has. I have been absent for awhile and there seems to be an increase in threads with no substance. e.g.: clutter. In my opinion, to access the excessive knowledge on this site, a member must bring at least the basic specs of the vehicle to the table. Do you refute this? (disagree) If I am outa line let me know. SS Don't take this the wrong way, but you just wasted as much bandwidth as he did. Simply don't reply to threads like that. Why flame a guy on his first post? Sorry not all of us can be at your advanced level!! I respect your knowledge and willingness to help, but give a newbie a break. joshuap 09-06-04, 10:17 PM To answer you question, since some people seem too arrogant and assinine to do so, check out ebay and search for escalade sub. You will find a company that makes a box for under the seat, but you only get 1 sub, and can only place 1 box under the seats. T_Dogg8 09-07-04, 07:39 AM you complain about keeping 'clutter' out of your community....well i think acting like an a-hole needs out of the community, not some new guy asking a question for his first time. how do you know it's not the first time he's been to a forum. i know if my dad came to a forum he'd have no idea what info to leave with the question. has nothing to do with intelligence or anything, just knowledge of how to do things. so yes, i do think you're out of line. jrscaddyxlt: if you're looking for an ext box, check avalanche sites or let me know. i have some diagrams for boxes that will fit. ebay is crap, they don't have the best stuff. you can fit 2 subs under the seats, you just have to know how to do it. skides1 09-09-04, 05:37 AM "Sweet Thing" t-dogg i am truly dissapointed in your e-bonics. Ha Ha Bow down You'd have to have like 10,000 posts to sling some crap my way! skides1 09-09-04, 05:47 AM I've done nothing but try to help you in your "Cadillac Knowledge" Now, your calling me "sweet thing" "Respect" must not be in your limited vocab! Damn that makes me super mad! I have paid my dues with reciepts and cheap shots are not only futile but evidence of delusions of grandure. I will let it go for now but give the respect that is given t-dogg. hcvone 09-09-04, 07:20 AM Can't we all play nice......, we need a group hug. ;) ;) T_Dogg8 09-09-04, 07:58 AM don't you even come back here talking about respect. you were away from the board and then come back with a chip on your shoulder....grow up. and if you really want to know, 'sweet thing' was put in by a filter. i really said a$$ hole. so why don't you get that chip off your shoulder and be a man. i know about respect and you say it's a two way street, yet you showed NO respect for a new member. i wasn't trying to take a cheap shot at you, i was just trying to make this place better by defending a new guy who probably now feels like he's not welcome and won't come back. all you had to do was either answer his question or not say anything. you obviously think you're better than him and better than me since you think i should have 10,000 posts to your 149 to be able to say anything you don't agree with. why don't you start acting like a man instead of some spoiled little boy. onbagz2002 09-10-04, 10:09 PM :yeah: RBraczyk 09-10-04, 10:19 PM Ok ladies lets take it easy. Now about the sub, If im not mistaken if you ever want to fold your rear seats foward, i suggest that you make it easy to take out. Make a custom box if you want to. SHouldn't take too much skill. cjp85 09-11-04, 07:30 AM http://www.jlaudio.com/stealthbox/escalade.html T_Dogg8 09-13-04, 08:06 AM you lose your ability to take your window out with that and it's expensive. i also heard it's not the greatest sounding. if you search around some avalanche forums, you'll find plans for boxes that will fit two 8s under the rear seat and still be able to completely fold down. joshuap 09-13-04, 10:44 AM T-Dogg, it doesn't stop you from taking the window out, it just stops your from being able to store the window in the truck, or atleast where it is to be stored from factory. T_Dogg8 09-13-04, 11:38 AM yes, that's correct. sorry i wasn't clear. but really, that window is expensive, so i wouldn't want to store it just anywhere. | |
