My bad Onbags2002. I am wondering what model, year, make, bodystyle the man has. I have been absent for awhile and there seems to be an increase in threads with no substance. e.g.: clutter. In my opinion, to access the excessive knowledge on this site, a member must bring at least the basic specs of the vehicle to the table. Do you refute this? (disagree) If I am outa line let me know. To answer you question, since some people seem too arrogant and assinine to do so, check out ebay and search for escalade sub. You will find a company that makes a box for under the seat, but you only get 1 sub, and can only place 1 box under the seats.

you complain about keeping 'clutter' out of your community....well i think acting like an a-hole needs out of the community, not some new guy asking a question for his first time. how do you know it's not the first time he's been to a forum. i know if my dad came to a forum he'd have no idea what info to leave with the question. has nothing to do with intelligence or anything, just knowledge of how to do things. so yes, i do think you're out of line.

jrscaddyxlt: if you're looking for an ext box, check avalanche sites or let me know. i have some diagrams for boxes that will fit. ebay is crap, they don't have the best stuff. you can fit 2 subs under the seats, you just have to know how to do it.

Ok ladies lets take it easy. Now about the sub, If im not mistaken if you ever want to fold your rear seats foward, i suggest that you make it easy to take out. Make a custom box if you want to. SHouldn't take too much skill.

you lose your ability to take your window out with that and it's expensive. i also heard it's not the greatest sounding. if you search around some avalanche forums, you'll find plans for boxes that will fit two 8s under the rear seat and still be able to completely fold down.

T-Dogg, it doesn't stop you from taking the window out, it just stops your from being able to store the window in the truck, or atleast where it is to be stored from factory.

yes, that's correct. sorry i wasn't clear. but really, that window is expensive, so i wouldn't want to store it just anywhere.
